Frequently Asked Questions ABOUT ETSY Q) What is Etsy? A) Etsy is an online marketplace for buying and selling handcrafted items. Q) Why do I need to register with Etsy? A) Registering with Etsy allows you to purchase items from my shop. It helps regulate the credibility of each store with the feedbacks that are left after a purchase. By viewing the feedbacks of a given shop, You can determine if this is a seller you'd like to do business with. **A note to remember - those with a smaller amount of feedbacks are usually new and had just opened. Give them a chance as well. Q) How much does it cost to register with Etsy? A) Nothing. It costs nothing to register. SHIPPING Q) How will my items arrive? A) I ship USPS Priority Mail within the U.S. and USPS First Class International elsewhere. Combined shipping on multiple purchases is available. At checkout - before paying for your items, please email me and I will send a Paypal invoice with the combined shipping. If you have any questions, please contact me. If you purchase a tote/bag, it will be carefully wrapped in plastic (for extra protection while in transit) and then packed in a sturdy new box large enough to avoid crushing or flattening your bag. All bags lay flat in the box...No bags are folded for shipment. Other items such as Key Fobs, Baby Bibs/ Burp Cloths, Baby Blankets, Mini Wallets will also be put in a plastic bag and shipped 1st Class in a padded envelope. Q) How are shipping costs calculated? A) The amount of shipping the item is clearly stated in each listing. If shipping is international and the amount of shipping indicated in the listing is more than the actual shipping, I will refund the difference after I mail the package. Combined shipping of purchasing multiple items is always available. PAYMENT Q) What can I expect during the checkout process? A) After adding items to your shopping cart, you will be prompted to complete the purchase. You will then have the opportunity to pay with a credit card by clicking the Paypal button. It's a 2 step process. Q) What if I purchase items from you and another seller? A) You have to pay each seller at a time. Follow the prompts in your shopping cart. Problems? Just email me at karen@baffinbags.com Q) When should I pay? A) Preferable at the time of checkout, but payment is expected within 72 hours. Please make your payment as soon as possible within 72 hours. Failure to do so will result in the item being relisted and a possible negative feedback to your account. I will contact you with reminders and options. Q) Do I need a Paypal account to purchase items? A) No! I use Paypal for quick and easy payments and tracking. If you do not have a Paypal account, you may still use Paypal to make purchases with a credit card without registering. This option will be available at the time of purchase. Q) Can I pay by Check or Money Order? A) At this time, I am not accepting checks or money orders. Thanks. Q) Do you charge sales tax? A) No sales tax will be charged.
